
These delicious bars are high in protein, have no added sugar (other an chocolate chips π) and are healthy enough for breakfast.
I have adapted this recipe from Detox Insta to make it a little more filling for my ever-hungry self. They are super easy and only take 30 minutes to make. A go to for me with I have over-ripe bananas and very little time.
Ingredients:
- 3 over ripe bananas
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of natural peanut butter
- 2 cups of gluten free oats
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or more if you’re like me)
- optional: 1/2 cup of walnut pieces.
Pre-heat your oven to 350Β°. Bake for 30 mins. Let Cool, Slice. Enjoy.
I keep them in the fridge for up to a week. They are best heated in the microwave for 15 seconds.
